The devices ByteShooter series was originally developed by the IELEC GmbH. and Mr. Bernhard Foltz.
The company has taken on 06/08/2010 Techtec the project.
The company Techtec will develop the devices and the software permanently.
Some software updates for the ByteShooter devices are on the website in the downloads section.

Vehicles that can be done with the Bytshooter can be found in the current vehicle list.

• The ByteShooter-Basic supports the following interfaces: K-Line, L-Line, CAN.
• The ByteShooter-Crossfire supports the following interfaces: K-Line, L-Line, CAN, J1850-VPW, J1850 PWM.
• The ByteShooter-Truck supports the following interfaces: K-Line, CAN, RS-485.
• The ByteShooter-Mini supports the following interfaces: K-Line, L-Line, CAN.

This will fit all relevant protocols of the automobile, truck and tractor manufacturers.
